Schedule a Recording on SpectrumTV.com

Note: This feature is only available to customers with Spectrum DVR service.
  1. Sign in to SpectrumTV.com.
  2. Select Guide at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll left, right, up or down to view all available TV listings.
  4. Select a program and then choose Record.

  1. Choose your Recording Options and then select Confirm.
  2. To remove the title from your Scheduled Recordings, select Options and then Cancel.

How to Record Your Favorite TV Show on the Spectrum TV App

  1. Sign in to the Spectrum TV App.
  2. Select the Guide icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll left, right, up or down to view all available TV listings.
  4. Choose a program.
  5. Select Record.
Helpful Tip: You can select which DVR your recorded programs are saved to by selecting Settings > Devices. You can also rename your devices in the Spectrum TV App to easily differentiate between multiple receivers or DVRs registered to your account.

Troubleshooting

Note: Record functionality is only available on Arris, Motorola and Pace receivers at this time.

 

Having trouble with DVR recording?

Make sure that you go through the following:

  • Schedule your recording on a Motorola, Arris or Pace DVR. Your guide should look like this:

  • Your DVR is on and set to live TV (you should not see any menus or guides). Note: If your DVR is Off, it won't be able to record.
  • Allow at least 36 hours after your DVR has been installed.

Still Having Trouble With Your Spectrum Receiver?

Try updating it from the following steps:

 

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote control once.
  2. Go to the APPS icon and hit OK/Select.

  1. Select TV App Update and you should see a loading icon at the bottom right corner of your TV screen. When the loading icon disappears, your update is complete.

  1. Unplug your receiver (allow 15 seconds), then plug it back in. When it's finished reloading, you should be able to record programming within 30 minutes.
Note: If you've already tried this or if your receiver doesn't need this update and you perform the update again, you won't see a loading icon.
