Reboot Your Spectrum Receiver
You can troubleshoot most TV problems by rebooting your Spectrum Receiver. First, check your equipment wiring and make sure everything is plugged in and connected tightly.
- Check the cable connections at the wall and the receiver to make sure they're secure.
- Ensure your receiver is connected to a standard electrical outlet, not a switched outlet that is turned on and off with a light switch.
- Check the cable connections between the receiver and the TV to make sure they're secure.
If all equipment wiring is connected properly and your issue still isn't resolved, follow the steps below to reboot your receiver.
Spectrum 100 or Spectrum 200 Receiver
If you have a Spectrum 100 or Spectrum 200 receiver, you can easily reboot it by pressing the button on the front right of the box.
Other Spectrum Receivers
To reboot all other receivers, unplug the device for 15 seconds and then plug it back in. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover before turning it back on.
