Display Issues


In order to receive HD channels you must:

  1. Have an HDTV
  2. Have an HD Spectrum Receiver (cable box)
  3. Subscribe to HD channels

You can sign in and view your TV equipment and channels.

Black Bars/Borders/Incorrect Fit

If you view standard definition (SD) programming on your HDTV, you may see black bars on either side of the screen. You can adjust how SD programming is shown on your TV by changing the settings in your guide. In addition, changing the settings in your guide can help ensure that you have the right fit for your picture.

General Troubleshooting

  1. Ensure all connections are correct and finger-tight.
  2. Verify your HDTV is set to the proper source (HDMI/Input/Source)
  3. Refresh your receiver.
