Using Your Services When You're Not Home
You can still use a number of your Spectrum services even if there's no service at your home or you're away from home.
Use Spectrum Voice
You can access your voicemail messages through Voice Online Manager . If your home service isn't working, you can listen to messages from another phone by following these steps:
- Enter your 7- or 10-digit home telephone number.
- Press * when you hear your voicemail greeting.
- When prompted, enter your PIN followed by the pound key (#).
- Press 1 to listen to your messages.
Activate Readable Voicemail and have the audio file and full text transcription of your received voicemail sent to you via email.
Set up a Backup Phone to forward calls to if your Spectrum Voice service is unavailable. Turn on Backup Phone through Voice Online Manager settings.
Watch Spectrum TV
Download and Install the App
The Spectrum TV app is available to download at no extra charge. Search for Spectrum TV in your device's app store. The Spectrum TV app is available on the following platforms: Apple iOS 8.0+ and Android OS 4.0+.
As long as you have an internet connection, you can still access many great Spectrum TV features. You can also watch programming on Spectrumtv.com .
Connect to Spectrum WiFi
With Spectrum WiFi, you have access to our high-speed WiFi Internet network even when you're away from home. Unlimited access in included with your Spectrum Internet service. To connect, look for the "Spectrum WiFi" and "Cable WiFi" networks on your device. You can also connect to Spectrum WiFi by signing up for our Free 30-Minute Trial. Use our WiFi Coverage Map , or look under Settings on your WiFi-enabled device for a list of available networks.
