The following information will help you connect your Magnavox 5100 Blu-Ray player to your network using a wireless or wired connection.

Wireless Connection

 
  1. Open the Network Connection menu on your Blu-Ray player.
  2. Select Network Selection, then Wireless.
  3. Choose Wireless Router, then Find Wireless Network.

  1. Your Magnavox Blu-Ray player will begin searching for wireless networks in range.
  2. Select your network name from the list provided.

  1. Enter your WiFi password.
  2. If you chose WEP or WPA as the authentication method, the WEP/WPA Key entry screen will appear. Enter the WEP/WPA key for your wireless network using the cursor buttons, number buttons and color key. When finished, press Yellow.
  3. A confirmation message will appear. Select Yes.

  1. Select Yes again, then Easy.

Wired Connection

  1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on your Magnavox Blu-Ray player.

  1. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an open LAN port on your In-home WiFi router.

  1. Open the Network Connection menu on your Blu-Ray player.
  2. Select Network Selection, then Wired.
  3. Choose Easy for your setup option.
  4. Your Magnavox Blu-Ray player will start a connection test automatically.
  5. Select OK to activate the network settings and set the network connection automatically.
  6. Choose Setup to exit.
