Here's how to place calls with Spectrum Voice:

Domestic Calls

For calls within your service area enter the seven- or 10-digit phone number.

For calls outside your service area enter 1+ area code + seven-digit phone number.

International Calls

Enter 011 + the country code + the area or city code + the phone number.

Operator-Assisted Calls

Collect Calls:

The operator contacts the answering party and requests payment for the call.

 

Person-to-Person Call:

The operator must reach a particular person to connect the call.

 

Bill-to-Third-Party Calls:

The operator contacts one phone number and requests that the call be charged to another designated phone number.

 

Busy Line Verification:

The operator will check a phone number to verify whether there is a conversation on the line.

 

Busy Line Interrupt:

The operator will interrupt a conversation on the line that was verified as busy.

 

General Assistance Inquiries:

The operator can assist with matters such as time of day, dialing assistance (including local/long distance and international), etc.

 

Emergency 911 Call Handling:

The operator can assist with any call requiring emergency services.

 

To contact your operator, enter 0 on your phone. Operator-assisted calls are billed on a per-use basis. These charges depend on the service requested.
