First, Check Your Connections

Check your equipment wiring and make sure everything is plugged in and connected tightly.

  • Check the cable connections at the wall and Spectrum receiver and make sure they're secure.
  • Make sure your Spectrum receiver is connected to a standard electrical outlet, not a switched outlet that is turned on and off with a light switch.
  • Check the cable connections between the Spectrum receiver and the TV and make sure they're secure.

If all equipment wiring is connected properly and your issue still isn't resolved, follow the steps below:

Reset Your Spectrum 100 or Spectrum 200 Receiver

If you have a Spectrum 100 or Spectrum 200 receiver, you can easily reset it by pressing the button on the front right of the box.

Reset Other Spectrum Receivers

To reset or power cycle all other Spectrum receivers, unplug the receiver for 15 seconds and then plug it back in. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover before turning it back on.
