If you're having problems accessing programming through the new Spectrum Guide, first try to RESET DATA on your Spectrum Receiver:

  1. Press Menu on your remote.
  2. Using the arrow buttons scroll to Account Overview and then press OK/Select.
  3. Scroll to Equipment using the arrow buttons and then press OK/Select.
  4. Highlight RESET DATA and then press OK/Select.
  5. Once the system has reset, try your request again.

If the error persists, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

If your issue is: Recommended steps:

Channel lineup/missing channels

  1. Check your guide options filters to confirm that you're not filtering out channels.
  2. Check Parental Controls if only adult titles are missing.
  3. Check your channel lineup to confirm the channels are included with your subscription.
  4. Send a refresh signal to your receiver.
  5. Confirm there isn't an outage in your area.

Unblock title pop-up message

If you're unable to access programming through the guide and receive a message asking you to "unblock title", adjust your Parental Controls.

Guide freezes when changing channels

Reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Tuning to incorrect channels

  1. Turn off HD Auto Tune in Guide Settings.
    Note: When HD Auto Tune is off, you'll need to tune directly to HD channels.
  2. Send a refresh signal to your receiver.
  3. If the issue continues, reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Channels logos mismatch/do not display

Guide time incorrect

  1. Check your Time Display settings under Preferences in Settings & Support. Learn more.
  2. If the problem persists, reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Guide filters

  1. Change the channel filters on your guide.
  2. If the problem persists, reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

No Guide data/Guide unavailable

  1. Ensure that all equipment is connected properly, and that there are no loose or damaged cables.
  2. Confirm there isn't an outage in your area.
  3. Press the OK/Select button twice on the remote while viewing programming to open the Mini Guide.
  4. Reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Only Mini Guide displays

If you're unable to view the full-sized Guide by pressing the Guide button on your remote:

  1. Press Menu on your remote, highlight Guide using the arrow buttons and then press OK/Select.
  2. If the error persists, reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Can't see Info Banner

  1. Check your Aspect Ratio settings to make sure the correct picture size is selected and you can see the entire info banner.
  2. Adjust your Display Duration settings for the Info Banner.
  3. If the issue continues, reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Can't access Main Menu

Reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.

Setting not working correctly

  1. If a particular setting is not working, turn that setting Off and select Save. Then turn the setting back On, and select Save.
  2. If that doesn't work, send a refresh signal to your receiver.

Instant Upgrade Unavailable

If you get a message telling you that Instant Upgrade is unavailable, you can still upgrade your channels by calling us at (833) 267-6094.

Caller ID on TV doesn't work

  1. Caller ID on TV is only available if you subscribe to a Spectrum Digital TV package.
  2. Verify that you subscribe to Spectrum Voice with Caller ID.
  3. Try turning the feature Off, and then turn it back on. Learn how.
  4. If the issue continues, reset (power cycle) your receiver by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then plugging the power cord back into the outlet. Wait up to 20 minutes for the receiver to fully recover and turn it back on.
