View Available Storage

  1. Press the DVR/My DVR button on your remote control.
  2. Navigate to DVR Settings using the arrow buttons and then press OK/Select.
  3. Press the right arrow button to highlight Available Storage and then press OK/Select.

Troubleshooting DVR Storage

Here are some problems associated with having limited available storage on your Spectrum My DVR:

  • Can't record a program
  • Scheduled recordings are automatically deleting
  • Can't schedule a recording
  • Scheduled recording didn't record

If your available disk space drops below 5% or the estimated scheduled recordings for the next two weeks exceed your available space, the outline for the storage gauge will be red. If the disk space is full, programs not marked to be saved Until I Delete are automatically deleted.

Delete DVR Recordings

To delete recorded programs:

  1. Press the DVR/My DVR button on your remote control.
  2. Navigate to Recordings using the arrow buttons on your remote control and press OK/Select.
  3. Use the arrow buttons to select the title that you want to delete and press OK/Select.
  4. Select Delete and then press OK/Select.
  5. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to confirm.

To delete scheduled recordings:

  1. Press the DVR/My DVR button on your remote control.
  2. Navigate to Scheduled using the arrow buttons on your remote control and press OK/Select.
  3. Use the arrow buttons to select the title that needs to be cancelled and press OK/Select.
  4. Select Cancel Recording or Cancel Series Recording and press OK/Select.
  5. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to confirm cancellation.
