Three-Digit Code Programming Method

Your remote control can be programmed by entering the three-digit programming code listed for the manufacturer or brand of your audio/video equipment.

  1. Turn on the equipment you wish to program (TV, VCR, DVD or AUX).
  2. Press the Mute button and SELECT/OK button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The remote device buttons will begin to blink in sequence.
    • Release the Mute and Select/OK buttons when the desired device button is blinking. The device button light will remain on.
  3. Point the remote control toward the equipment and enter the three-digit code assigned to your brand.
Note: If there's more than one three-digit number listed for your brand, try one code number at a time until your equipment turns off.
    • The equipment will turn off when the correct three-digit code number has been entered. If you've selected the right code, the device will turn on or off when you press the POWER button.
    • Store the three-digit code number by pressing the Select/OK button once again. The device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored.
Test all the functions on the remote control. If any of the functions don't work as they should, repeat Step 3 using the next three-digit code listed for your device.

Auto-Search Method

If the three-digit code listed for your brand don't turn off your equipment or the manufacturer of your device isn't listed, you can use the auto-search method.

  1. Turn on the equipment you wish to operate.
  2. Press the Mute button and the SELECT/OK button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on.
    • The device LED will turn on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while the LED is on.
  3. Press the CH+ or CH- button one at a time or keep it pressed. The remote will emit a series of power on/off commands. Release the CH+ or CH- button as soon as the equipment turns off.
    • You can verify that you selected the correct code by pressing the Device button. The equipment should either turn on or off.
  4. Press the Select/OK button to store the code. The device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored.

  1. Press the DEVICE button (TV, VCR or AUX) you wish to verify and the SELECT button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The remote's device buttons will begin blinking in sequence.
  2. The device LED will turn on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while the LED is on.
  3. Press the INFO button.
  4. The device LED will blink a number of times indicating the number of each digit of the code. Each digit is separated by a 1 second interval of the LED being turned off.
  5. For example, one blink, three blinks and eight blinks with an interval of 1 second of the LED being turned off, indicates the code number 138. Ten blinks equal the number 0.
