Motorola Cablecard

Motorola CableCARD

A CableCARD is a one-way PC card device that allows access to Spectrum TV services, eliminating the need to lease a Spectrum Receiver.

A CableCARD inserted into an authorized CableCARD-compatible retail device provides similar functionality of a receiver, allowing access to the Spectrum TV channel lineup for your area.

Note: Spectrum TV only supports retail CableCARD-compatible devices. Those purchased from a third party (online auction) won't be supported.

Uninstall a CableCARD

You must communicate any change in your status to us, just as if you were a regular cable television customer. You may either return your CableCARD to your local Spectrum store or schedule a technician to come to your home to disconnect and retrieve any equipment, including the CableCARD.

Moving

If you relocate to an area with a different cable provider, simply return your Spectrum-issued CableCARD and obtain a new CableCARD from your new provider. Essentially, you own the equipment and lease the CableCARD.
