Note: Seasonal status is only available to existing customers in good standing, including Spectrum Internet Assist and Earthlink customers. Seasonal status may not be available for all services. Features & Benefits

Placing your account on a Seasonal plan while you're away allows you to keep your phone number, email address, voicemail, Spectrum Receiver and other TV, Internet or Voice equipment. You'll also be able to access your Spectrum.net account to pay your bill online and check your email, voicemail and account status.

You can place your account in Seasonal status once every 12 months. Seasonal status can range from two to nine months in duration. When placing your account on a Seasonal plan, you'll be asked to provide start and end dates, as well as a forwarding address, phone number and email.

On your scheduled return date, your Spectrum services will resume without the need to schedule a new installation or service visit. Also, your pre-Seasonal options and rates will be restored to your account and extend through to the original end date.

You can change the end date of your Seasonal plan up to one business day prior to the initial end date, without exceeding the nine month maximum.

Note: You're required to keep your account current while on a Seasonal plan. You'll need to provide a forwarding address for billing purposes or enroll in Auto Pay. If you miss a payment for fail to keep your Spectrum account current while on a Seasonal plan, you'll be subject to normal disconnection policies.

Level of Service

We offer two levels of Seasonal service and they vary based on whether or not you have a home security system. A low monthly fee will be applied to each of your Spectrum services placed on a Seasonal plan.

If you don't have a home security system, your Seasonal plan will include:

  • Limited Basic TV
  • The Guide (No VOD or PPV)
  • The Spectrum TV app (limited access)
  • Email (remote access)
  • Security Suite
  • Inbound calls
  • Calls to 911/611
  • Voicemail (if subscribed)
Note: Under this plan, you won't have access to the internet for the duration of your Seasonal status.

 

If you do have a home security system, your Seasonal plan will include all of the features above, with the addition of:

  • Internet speed of 1 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
  • In-home WiFi (if subscribed)
  • Out-of-home WiFi access
  • Current Voice services
Note: There is no Seasonal discount offered for Spectrum TV Stream service.

Seasonal Voice

When placing your account on a Seasonal plan, you may not have access to certain Spectrum Voice features, including:

  • Call Forwarding
  • Call Blocking
  • Do Not Disturb
  • Distinctive Ring
  • Call Waiting
  • Simultaneous Ring
  • Backup Phone

 

California LifeLine

California LifeLine Voice customers aren't eligible for Seasonal status. If necessary, California LifeLine customers can disconnect their Voice service if they wish to place their account on Seasonal status and then reapply for California LifeLine when they return.
