Your Spectrum username serves not only as your Spectrum sign in credential, but also as your email address. You can create up to seven email addresses for no additional charge as soon as your Spectrum Internet service is active.

General Settings

General Settings apply to your full email account (Spectrum AND third-party accounts added via Unified Inbox).

Display Email Images: Toggle on to automatically display external images in email messages.

Display Emails As Plain Text: Display emails only in plain text.

Automatic Save Draft: Save drafts automatically while composing email messages.

Automatic Folder Update: Enable automatic checking for new email in the currently selected folder (not supported on all browsers).

Permanently Delete Messages: When a message is deleted, it will be permanently deleted instead of being sent to the Trash folder.

Time Zone: Select your time zone.

Language: Select English or Spanish as your language preference.

Messages Displayed Per Page: Select the number of messages that appear per page (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 or 100).

Signature: Lets you specify a message that will be added to the end of every email you send. Create up to 3 signatures to choose from when composing an email.

To add/edit a signature:

  1. Select the Settings tab at the top of the page followed by Account Settings on the left side of the page.
  2. Select the Signature field to edit.
  3. Add the desired signature text and select Save Account Settings.
