Your Spectrum username serves not only as your Spectrum sign-in credential, but also as your email address. You can create up to seven email addresses for no additional charge as soon as your Spectrum Internet service is active.

Note: Account Settings pertain to your Spectrum Email account only, not third-party accounts associated with your unified inbox.

 

Access Email Settings

To access your Spectrum Email account settings:

  1. Sign in to Spectrum.net.
  2. Select the Email icon at the top of your screen.
  3. Choose Settings, as shown in the image below.

  1. From the Email Settings page, select Account Settings from the dropdown menu on the left.

  1. Choose the Spectrum Email account that you would like to edit.
  2. Scroll to and then select an account setting to make changes.
  3. When finished, select Save Account Settings.

Account Name

This is your email account login name.

Mailbox Storage

Mailbox Storage displays your Spectrum-issued email account's current data usage, but it does not include third-party accounts.

Enable Mail Forwarding

Forward your incoming email to up to five alternative email addresses.

To forward your email:

  1. Select the Settings tab at the top of the page followed by Account Settings on the left side of the page.
  2. Select the Enable Mail Forwarding field to turn it ON.
  3. Add the email address to which you would like to forward your Spectrum-issued email and select Save Account Settings.

Leave Copy?

You can choose to leave a copy of forwarded mail in your inbox.

Forward Email To

You can enter up to 5 email addresses in this field. Your Spectrum Email will be forwarded to these messages. If you don't want your messages forwarded, leave this field blank.

Blocked Senders

This allows you to block messages from individual email addresses or entire domains (the domain is the part of the email address that comes after the @ sign). Enter the email address or domain in the field and select Apply to add it to the list. You can also remove addresses or domains from the list using the Remove button. Emails from the addresses and domains on the list will not be delivered.

Safe Senders

You can make a list of email addresses or domains (the domain is the part of the email address that comes after the @ sign) that will never be treated as junk mail. Enter the email address or domain in the field and select Apply to add it to the list. You can also remove addresses or domains from the list using the Remove button.

Real Name

This name will appear in the "Sender" field of emails you send preceding your email address.

To add/edit real name:

  1. Select the Settings tab at the top of the page followed by Account Settings on the left side of the page.
  2. Select the Real Name field to edit.
  3. Add the name you want to appear in the sender field and select Save Account Settings.

Reply To

"Reply To" lets you specify email addresses for replies to be sent.

To add/edit reply to:

  1. Select the Settings tab at the top of the page followed by Account Settings on the left side of the page.
  2. Select the Reply To field to edit.
  3. Add the desired email address and select Save Account Settings.
